Steve Luchsinger, Writer-Performer
Steve Luchsinger is a seasoned writer for multiple mediums. He is a graduate of UCLA Film School. He has written for Phil of the Future (Disney Channel), Boogie’s Diner (Franklin Waterman), Up All Night (USA Channel), High Tide (Franklin Waterman), All American Girl (ABC), the Famous Five: On the Case (Marathon Films) and the Adventures of Hyperman (DIC). He has sold comic screenplays such as House Guests (20th C. Fox), Super Zeros (Warner Bros.), Battle Dwarves (Disney), Catastrophe (Spelling). Off-screen, Steve has written for the Simpson’s Comics.
As a performer, he has studied at Second City, Hollywood and acted on the Smart Guy (Disney) and Up All Night (USA Channel), done voiceovers, and contributed to the Tim Conway Jr. and Steckler Show. He is often called upon to play Maxwell Smart (from Get Smart) for trade shows and conventions. Steve illustrated two books and his paintings have been featured alongside the likes of SHAG.
Steve is the owner of Ships Trader Antiques of Adventure, a nautical prop company that has dressed sets for TV and feature films including the Tonight Show, Wipeout, Superbowl, Master and Commander, Titanic, and all three Pirates of the Caribbean movies. He is a Specialist and Historian in 18, 19, 20th Century Maritime history, Polynesia, Tiki Culture, China Trade, and early aviation.
